1. I finally ran yesterday for the first time since the half last weekend. I had every intention of lacing back up on Monday, but life, weather, and timing conspired against me. It was a meager three miles on the treadmill at a slower pace than I ran my half marathon and it felt harder than it should have. I sure it was because of the walking lunges I’ve been doing. My butt and legs already felt busted before I ever took the first step. But in a good way.
2. I read this article a couple of days ago and was completely flabergasted by the “orthorexia” part. Are you freakin’ kidding me??? Eat a healthy diet and you’re labeled as having a disorder? Give your body what’s best for it and you need behavioral therapy? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
3. Harley ate part of his blanket. I didn’t even notice until he tried to pass it. You haven’t lived until you’ve pulled the last few inches of a two-foot-long piece of fleece from your dog’s ass.
HAHA Harley – you got her!
Totally reminds me of watching some guy at dog park trying to pull the last couple inches of a two foot long rope out of his dog's derriere.
Poor pup.

Ha! I swear that my mom accused me of being “orthorexic” the other day. To which I replied, “Really? You think my healthy eating habits are unhealthy? Because sitting on your ass and eating Ben and Jerry's is the pillar of healthy behavior.” Obviously, I was fired up. She didn't appreciate my take on her eating habits either.

#3. Killed me. So true. So freaking true. My 8 pound Maltese once pooped a quarter — took him about 25 minutes. I. Was. Not. About. To. Assist.
#2. Such a joke.
#1. Awesome. Sore and all.

Orthorexia? Are you kidding me??? For the love. Eliminating processed foods is an eating disorder. America, we have a problem…

#2 Is pure craziness.
#3 Needless to say I've been on the pulling end of a similar situation.

I read that article yesterday also, and laughed. Ridiculous. Why does there have to be a disorder for every little stupid thing. Dumb!
#3. Oy. LMAO.

Oh my gosh, #3 is too funny!
How were you last night with the storms? I was pretty worried but all we got in my part of NW Georgia was hail and crazy rain. The lightening was incredible too–nonstop–I've never seen anything like it!
Glad you're ok!

I came home one night and noticed my Rottie suddenly had a tail. She didn't have one when I left. She was passing a pair of pantyhose. The entire pair! Needless to say, I helped. Now I make sure I pick those up!

I think I read that article too. There has to be a disorder with EVERYTHING, I mean no one is perfect, right? (rolls eyes) It's just to make unhealthy people feel better?

Some of my students were trying to tell me about this orthoexia thing the other day, and it just sounds ridiculous. I guess it's dangerous if you only live on broccoli and carrots, but how many people are really doing that? I guess I should read the original study instead of the yahoo article.
#3 had me cracking up. 😀

I love that they're trying to make orthoexia — or whatever it's call — a diagnosis so that health insurance will cover it. Stupid bullshit.

UGGHHH!!! I find #2 infuriating! Whoever made up that disorder clearly feels guilty about their own eating habits!

#1 lunges, good job. I seem to avoid them like the plague

#2 – unfortunately there is always someone intent on finding the bad in the good. Crazy
#3 – laughed out loud when I read that one. We haven't had that fun yet with our puppy, but we did have the joy of dealing with a ruptured anal gland. Sometimes things are, in fact, as bad as they sound. Good thing she's cute.

Awww, poor you and poor Harley! I hate to be on the receiving 'end' (haha) of those gifts! And I had not heard anything about this healthy-eating disorder (I live in a bubble), I'm gonna have to read up and see what that's all about….people believe some really weird stuff.

My legs have been heavy from lunges and other CrossFit stuff too. Good job pushing through it! I guess I should go grab a donut for breakfast so that no one thinks I am orthorexic!
