That’s What She Said

A few weeks ago Bobbie at 2010 Journey in Running hosted a Snorg Tees giveaway, and LUCKY ME, I won!  As I was browsing their site to pick out my shirt, I saw this one and knew I had to have it.

Love it!

This shirt kind of sparked a conversation between me and my husband, too.  I wore it out one night while we were on vacation.  There were all these dolled up Barbie chicks walking around in their short skirts and hooker heels (no hate for the heels–I have ’em too!), and then there was me in my That’s What She Said t-shirt, ripped Aeropostale jeans, and Old Navy flip-flops.  He loves the fact that I can wear that and be totally confident, and I love the fact that he loves that.  I think that’s just something that comes with age.  I look at those girls now and think, “Could you possibly try any harder?”  Don’t get me wrong, I like to wear cute outfits when we go out too!  But, man, my ass sure does look good in those jeans…

  1. That shirt is amazing! i am notorious for saying that phrase, too, even though I always manage to say it after the joke has passed or when it doesn't make a lot of sense. 🙂

Yes, these $5 races ARE fun! Especially considering that I don't like short-distance races! I love the no-pressure, no-frills aspect of it, though. And $12 to pre-register & getting a cotton t-shirt…?! What a steal. 🙂 I'd do that in a heartbeat, too. Now I'm not so sure I want to do expensive races anymore!!

    Enjoy your Labor Day!

Love it. LOVE IT. Good for you for wearing that while going out. I've had my eye on a few snorg Tees for quite a while…..

  3. Amen! And this reminds me, I couldn't HELP myself but make this joke over the weekend (don't remember the specifics, but we were cooking hot dogs…) and my 10 year old laughed! WHAT the hell? I'm not 100% sure he “got” the joke, but I guess it is time to not make those jokes anymore around the spawn…damn..

  4. in miami, girls are always wearing heels and dresses and I do have moments of gosh I really should try harder… so yes I found some cute cotton dresses and yes I still wear them with flip flops because my feet need love to ensure they can run and heels for them are not love
